What is shape and colour?? Shape is defined as: do you see the geometric or organic shapes? What are they? Colour is defined as the property possessed by an object of producing different sensations on the eye as a result of the way the object reflects or emits light. I took this picture at the Granite Club. They have a dessert table and i was eating there and i was thinking what picture i would use for this assignment. So, i decided to take this. It shows different shapes of desserts. There are circular cakes, retangular cakes, and all sorts of different glasses of desserts. Also, the colour aspect in this picture is all the fruits and all the different varieties of cakes. They each are different colours, which makes this picture very colourful. ps. The desert was very good!!!
Photographic Line 1
I chose this picture of my neighbor’s backyard because the bricks show lines around the rectangle and the fence has lines on it too. I also chose this because there are lines all around the house and on top (the roof). This shows that wherever you look there is some sort of line there. It’s an effective form of line because there are different patterns of lines in the picture. For example, the lines go horizontal and vertical and sometimes diagonal. The fence is also main point of view because it shows the difference between each fence.
